Syllabus: | Conduct of the requirements and design of an Electronic Commerce (EC) project to explore EC principles and integrate material learned in other EC major units. Gain practical experience conducting and managing an EC project, seminar discussion of intermediate to advanced contemporary topics of EC including integration of EC systems with the technological infrastructure, construction and installation of EC systems, EC management, alignment of EC with organizational plans and objectives and the role of EC in the IS/IT organisational function. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have practical experience in undertaking an EC project, understanding of the relationship between the advanced units of the different themes (analysis, design, development, and technological infrastructure) as related to EC, understanding of advanced and contemporary EC management topics, ability to work with a team on an EC project and ability to interact with clients on an EC project. |
