Syllabus: | Analysis of case studies to explore the principles and contemporary topics of IT including integration of programming, technological infrastructure, construction and installation of IS and EC systems, IT management, outsourcing, alignment of IT with organisational plans and objectives, and the IT organisational function. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - An understanding of the relationship between the different themes (analysis, design, development and technological infrastructure) as related to IT. An understanding of advanced and contemporaryIT management topics. Knowledge and ability to manage the small IT enterprise, knowledge of and the ability to work at a lower level of and interact successfully with others in a larger IT enterprise. |
