Syllabus: | Process modelling and data modelling, a variety of system development approaches tools and techniques, including rapid application development, joint application development, and prototyping. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Created a Requirement Specification Report including business objectives, Information Systems specification, development plan and methodology. Used appropriate tools to construct physical and logical process models for existing and new systems and constructed conceptual and logical relational data models. Understood a variety of legacy and contemporary systems development methodologies and techniques, for example, SDLC, RAD, JAD, Prototyping, andAgile methodologies. Presented proposals to management. Developed a small system using techniques and skills learnt. |
