Syllabus: | Analysis of case studies to explore the principles and contemporary topics of information systems (IS) including integration of analysis and design and construction, evaluation of IS, IS management, out sourcing, systems planning, alignment of IS with organizational plans and objectives and the IS organisational function. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have an understanding of the relationship between the different themes (analysis, design, development, and technological infrastructure) as related to IS, understanding of advanced and contemporary IS management tactics, the knowledge and ability to manage the small IS enterprise, knowledge of and the ability to work at a lower level of and interact successfully with others in a larger IS enterprise. |
