Syllabus: |  Further development of physiotherapy competencies in clinical practice. Management of clients in rural and remote areas, in specialised fields and other countries is conducted in a clinical setting. A self directed program allows students to develop and conduct a specialised health program. |

Unit Outcomes:  | On successful completion of this unit students will be have, at an entry level practitioner standard - Planned and carried out the necessary procedures required for the clinical assessment of a patient/client. Demonstrated the ability to analyse assessment information i.e. problem-solve and the ability to carry out an appropriate treatment program based on the client's problem list. Demonstrated appropriate professional behaviour. Demonstrated the ability to manage a varied caseload. Independently developed a needs assessment. Implemented a new intervention program and evaluated the efficacy of a community based physiotherapy program. |
