Syllabus:

Further development of basic physiotherapy competencies in clinical practice. Management of patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological, paediatric, geronotological and gender health disorders is conducted in a clinical setting. Care presentations on typical disorders are used to continue emphasis on clinical reasoning using evidence based practice principles.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit the student will have - Demonstrated an ability to plan and carry out the necessary procedures required for the clinical assessment of a patient/client and to analyse assessment information ie problem-solve. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
