Syllabus: | Further development of basic physiotherapy competencies in using research to enhance evidence based practice. Practical skills covered include critical appraisal of clinical research and using evidence to answer clinically relevant questions. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed skills in reading and interpreting clinical research. An increased understanding of how to make a clinical decision based on different sources of evidence. Recognised the diverse natureof clinical research and appreciated the issues associated with being both a researcher and a clinician. Developed the skills to integrate research knowledge into practice. |
