Syllabus:

The undertaking of a project of value to the business community. The business community is broadly defined and encompasses private, public and community based organisations. Further development of business and leadership skills in context. Projects reflect the opportunity to experience leadership in action and extend skills in less familiar business roles. A high standard of academic rigor is required to integrate and reflect upon theories of management and leadership. The capstone leadership project is designed and sourced as part of Transformative Business Development 610.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Identified a community project of value that puts into practice the skills they have developed as part of their studies in the MLM. Had the opportunity to integrate and apply their experience and knowledge in the areas of leadership and management. Gained experience in peer coaching as a strategy for becoming a reflective practitioner. Conceptualised and implemented an appropriate data collectionor research method, where appropriate for their project work.

Project Charter, Integrative Project Report, Reflective Journal, Peer Coaching Report, Final Project Presentation. This is by pass/fail assessment.
