Syllabus: | Provides the skills and theoretical framework from which students are enabled to complete the Capstone Leadership Project of the MLM. Student groups select a Capstone project of value to the community and use the unit to prepare for the successful completion of the project. Facilitates learning in the areas of consulting, consulting relationships, project management, peer coaching and research methods. Students will have opportunities to reflect on the process of leadership and management in relation tothe project and the application of their learning in the MLM to the Capstone Leadership Project. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have identified a community project of value that puts into practice the skills they have developed. Developed a charter for their project outlining key responsibilities and outcomes. Integrated and applied their experience and knowledge in the areas of leadership and management. Gained experience in reciprocal peer coaching as a strategy for becoming a reflective practitioner. Prepared a reflective report incorporating project outcomes to their academic learning. |
