Syllabus: | An exploration of leadership and management and the key issues and principles of leadership necessary for the current and future successful leader. The opportunity to explore and develop individual leadership knowledge, self awareness and emotional intelligence. Includes individual and team focused simulations, team adventures, team building and outdoor activities. Provides an understanding of the social, political, technical and international environment that will influence the leadership of organisations over the next ten years. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Knowledge of the overall purpose of the Masters Degree in Leadership and Management and have established your competencies and areas of development you would like to focus on in the Masters Degree in Leadership and Management program. An introductory understanding of Leadership and Management. Examined the future of organisations and leadership in Australian and global environments. Understood the role of leaders in developing teamwork and have developed a strong team spirit between the members of the Masters Degree in Leadership and Management course. Foundation skills in accessing and referencing information sources and finding information using information technology. Awareness of actions to improve and maintain your well-being. |
