Syllabus: | Presented as two, six week components. The first component looks at maximizing photographic production values without using a professional studio or equipment. The component outlines innovative low-tech methods and techniques to achieve better advertising images for graduate folio work. The second component looks at photographic art direction for advertising, talent and make-up, food styling, product photography, studio photography, shooting on location, props and wardrobe etc. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Produced better quality photographic images using readily available, non-professional resources. Developed a deeper understanding of the specific needs and difficulties commonly associated with photography for advertising. |
