Syllabus: | Establish a basic understanding of photography and the computer software used in the design industry. Supports the Design in Context, Design Studio and Design Workshop units. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Executed photographs using a single lens reflex camera and understood how to adjust shutter speed and aperture in order to achieve innovative results. Understood the role of computers in the design industry and have some command of standard software for manipulating images and for desktop publishing. |
