Syllabus:

Examination of the law relating to intellectual property on a domestic and an international level. Both creative and marketing rights in regard to copyright, patents, designs, trade marks and trade secrets. Also includes a discussion of the important international treaties relating to intellectual property.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Understanding of the law relating to intellectual property as it relates to technology on both a domestic and international level.
