Syllabus:

Study of management factors involving vine growth and production, including soil management, nutrition, canopy management, vine improvement, organic viticulture case studies of problem vineyards, and role of computer based - decision on viticulture.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have - Had an introduction to research methodology. Appreciated the importance of undertaking preliminary research to identify what work has already been published on the topic. Understood the problems and sourcesof error in research design. Understood measures of statistical significance and the confidence levels applied to data.
