Syllabus: | A continuing unit in the Korean language at an intermediate level. Communicative oriented which offers further training in aural comprehension and conversation involving increased vocabulary, functions and situations using interactive activities and audio-visual materials. Develops reading and writing skills through practicing of notes, notices, letters and some authentic materials. Covers the Korean culture for an understanding of modern Korean society and its people. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - The ability to read Korean with fluency and comprehend various reading materials. Understood and articulated the Korean grammar. Written notes, letters and journals in hangul. Conversed in Korean within a range of situations using active vocabulary of around two thousand words. Developed an understanding of the Korean culture and contemporary Korean society relating to the topics covered. |
