Syllabus: | A continuing unit in the Korean language at an intermediate level. Communicative oriented which offers further training in aural comprehension and conversation involving increased vocabulary, functions and situations using interactive activities and audio-visual materials. Develops reading and writing skills through practicing of notes, notices, letters and some authentic materials. Covers the Korean culture for an understanding of modern Korean society and its people. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Conversed in Korean on everyday topics using an active vocabulary of around 1,500 words. Understood and practice basic and new Korean grammar. Read simple messages and passages in the Hangul script. Written short letters, notices and diary in Hangul. Developed an understanding of Korean culture and contemporary Korean society relating to the topics in the syllabus. |
