Syllabus: | A continuing beginner course in the Korean language following Korean 111. Communicative oriented, with the aim of further development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with increased vocabulary and language functions. Covers the Korean culture which is related to the usage of the language and an understanding of Korean people and contemporary society. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - The ability to read Korean with reasonable fluency. The ability to write simple messages in Hangul. Conversed in Korean within a limited range of situations using active vocabulary of around onethousand words. Developed an understanding of the Korean culture and contemporary Korean society relating to the topics covered. |
