Introduction
This course enables professionals to enhance knowledge and skills in specialised areas relevant to health in developing countries. Study is undertaken within the context of the work environment to ensure knowledge is sustained and enhanced. Accordingly, socio-cultural dimensions unique to the student's country of origin are taken into consideration.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree or equivalent and relevant work experience. Applicants without this requirement may have to undertake bridging units. Selection is based on academic background, work experience and referee reports.

Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study, and is also offered externally by distance education. Those undertaking external study should note that the contact hours indicated below are only a guide for individual study.
Intermediate Awards
A student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in International Health or Postgraduate Diploma in International Health may apply under exceptional circumstance provisions for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School.
