UNIT REFERENCES, TEXTS, OUTCOMES AND ASSESSMENT DETAILS: The most up-to-date information about unit references, texts and outcomes, will be provided in the unit outline.
Syllabus: This unit will introduce lesson planning including selecting objectives and appropriate teaching, learning and assessment strategies. In addition it will include the use of appropriate resources and effective communication to support learning. A two week professional placement will enable practical application of the knowledge and skills gained along with insights into the complexity of the teacher’s role.
