307645 v.1 Physics Specialisation Stream (Security Technology)


Introduction

This stream provides Security Technology graduates with both a general security background and specialist physics knowledge and skills. These graduates will be in a position to provide specialist physics related security advice to organisations or undertake research on security areas such as - physical methods of identification, image analysis, use of electromagnetic radiation for the development of new detection and monitoring systems, detection and management of nuclear materials, and the development of new materials. Students interested in security and applied physics will find this stream challenging, interesting and rewarding.
