Syllabus: |
Continues to improve students' ability to communicate effectively in both formal and informal settings. Awareness of language variations and regional differences will be strengthened through newspaper readings, discussions on current affairs and the introduction of readings in the Chinese classical language. Students are encouraged to use the language skills that they have acquired to carry out research and independent study on social changes in Chinese-speaking communities. |
