Introduction
This course offers a program at graduate level in the theory and practice of management. Persons with non-business degree qualifications, or without formal qualifications, but who have managerial and executive work experience, are eligible to enrol in this program. On successful completion of the program, students may be eligible to enrol for the Graduate Diploma and Master of Commerce (Management) Programs.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A degree from a recognised institution or considerable relevant work experience.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study. Some units are available in the evening.
Course Organisation
Full-time and part-time seminars.
Professional Recognition
Depending upon the major area of study chosen, graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Management.
Career Opportunities
Graduates generally find employment positions which focus on management activities in the intermediary managerial level.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
Special Note
Persons entering the program via this mechanism will need a total of 16 units to graduate from a masters degree.
