Syllabus:

General principles of meetings - preparation, rules and laws, legality, public and private. Right of assembly, constitutions, standing orders, agendas and committees. The role of the secretary, the chairperson, notice, quorum, proxies, adjournment, rulesof debate, voting, minutes and defamation. Law and procedure applicable to company meetings especially directors' meetings and general meetings.
