Syllabus: |
The concepts acquired in the prerequisite units are applied to computer-simulated exercises on strategy formulation and implementation in specific sectors. This application focus on business strategy requires an in-depth examination of (a) the underlyingeconomic, financial, technological and special industrial characteristics which provide rationales for specific strategic typologies (eg cooperation versus competition, risk management) and (b) the structural and philosophical evolution of different industries. |
