Syllabus:

Designed for students in the Master of Science (Computer Science). Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) is a rapidly developing area of computer technology. It encompasses the technology required to surround users with devices which will allow them to seamlessly interact with software. The latest developments in the areas of technology such as wearable computing, smart house technology and biometrics will be covered. The strategies required in order to integrate this type of technology into a cohesive environment will be discussed. Related issues such as intrusiveness, security and privacy will also be covered.
