Syllabus:

Band theory of semiconductors. Semiconductor doping, electron and hole transport, physics of PN junction, diode construction and operation. Bipolar junction transistor, junction field effect transistor, and metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor. Transistor biasing. Device modelling, analysis of linear single-stage amplifiers and an introduction to PSPICE.
