Syllabus:	Topics in algebra - factorisation, indices, logarithms, surds and solving equations. Functions and their graphical interpretation - domain, range, linear, quadratic and exponential functions and simultaneous equations. Sequences and series - arithmetic and geometric sequences and series. Growth and decay - applications, simple and compound interest and annuities. Set theory - union, intersection, subsets, elements of sets, number of elements and Venn diagrams. Numeration systems - decimal and binary number systems.
