Syllabus:

Focuses on the management of food-borne illness, food and drug hygiene and education in a community. Reviews food, drug and therapeutic goods manufacture, quality assurance models, HACCP training and auditing techniques. Evaluate the food safety and drugs and poisons legislation. Modules covered include: world food supply, introduction to food safety, food hygiene legislation, risk assessment, HACCP and food safety programs, introduction to drugs and therapeutic goods safety management, drugs and therapeutic goods legislation and codes and current issues in food and drug safety management.
