Syllabus:	An insight into a number of media and communication theories, concepts, models and methodologies, with a particular emphasis on Asian media. A wide range of media, including print, broadcast and the Internet, is examined to provide a comparative overviewof critical approaches used in studying and analysing the contemporary mediascape. Including the development of an understanding of audiences, of the processes of communication and of the power of mass media in relation to society and culture.
