Syllabus:	Coastal geomorphology, classification of coasts, geological factors influencing coastline development, beach profiles and dynamics of the coastal zone. Physical and environmental factors in relation to coastal sediment movement, sedimentation patterns in estuaries and bays, influence of coastal structures on sedimentation, coastal problems and management.
