Key aspects of research and written communication within engineering academic and professional contexts. Developing portfolios and oral communication skills. Emphasis will be placed on ability to work collaboratively in research and oral work. Skills to be developed - accessing and referencing information (the Harvard system). Ethical scholarship. Reflective writing. Presenting and interpreting graphic information. Report writing. Oral communication.
