Examination of a selection of the different varieties of English spoken throughout the world. These include a selection of so-called native speaker English, for example British, Australian and so-called non-native varieties, such as Singaporean, Indigenous and Indian. Exploration and analysis of the differences between varieties in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and socio-cultural roles. |
