This course further develops the ability to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate systems of healthcare delivery. It is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold senior management, administrative and planning positions within health service institutions. It is aimed at both health professionals wishing to acquire management and administrative skills and non-health professionals intending to seek a career in health services management.
Approved health science degrees although graduates from other backgrounds will also be considered. Applicants with the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Administration will be eligible to apply and have completed units credited.

The course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.
A student who has successfully completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate awards approved for this course appear below.
Graduate Certificate in Health Policy and Management; Postgraduate Diploma in Health Administration.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
