The course is designed to provide training for graduates from any background in the skills necessary to work in the broad field of landcare. The course emphasis is on underlying theory rather than hands-on practice and will be of value to those already employed in the field or anticipating entering this professional area. This course complements the more extensive Graduate Diploma in Landcare by providing the essential core units.
A bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised institution and/or relevant experience.
Applications for recognition of prior learning will be assessed on an individual basis.
This fee-paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study and is also available in external study mode.
Graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
