Syllabus: | Taylor's Series. First order differential equations. Numerical analysis - solution of nonlinear equations and systems of linear and nonlinear equations. Interpolation. Numerical differentiation and integration. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have strengthened their understanding of calculus and linear algebra and learnt to use the MAPLE computer algebra package to assist in their calculations |
