Syllabus:

Counselling stream - Supervised placement. History taking, setting counselling goals. Implementing and evaluating counselling programs. Education stream - Selection and preparation of three topics, development of teaching strategies, implementation and evaluation.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated the capacity to plan, implement and evaluate a specific project and present both a verbal and a written report on the project. Had experience in history taking, counselling, record keeping and report writing (Counselling Stream). Explored three topics in depth, developed teaching strategies and had experience teaching and evaluating three topics (Education Stream).
