Syllabus: | Training in general skills in interpreting through repetition drills and dialogue interpreting. Practice of public speaking in Japanese. Workshop for building up technical vocabulary. Discussions in Japanese and English on cross-cultural issues where appropriate. Not available to students whose first language is Japanese. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Increased interpreting skills, improved Japanese speaking ability and an improved comprehension of japanese. |
