Syllabus: | Discussion in Japanese and English on various sociolinguistic features and problems of cross-cultural communication. Demonstration of sociolinguistic differences through analysis spoken and written language materials. Introduction of technical vocabulary relating to the topic discussed. Not available to students whose first language is Japanese. |
