Syllabus:

A geophysical study of a specified area, process and interpret the data and submit a report. Field trips and excursions to project areas.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have gained experience in the planning, execution and interpretation of geophysical surveys, field experience in the operation of geophysical instruments and in writing an exploration report.

Assessment of application of student to achieving goals of survey under field conditions and assessment of students' conduct during the survey period 20%, Written Project Report 80%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
