Syllabus: | A general introduction to the critical analysis and construction of arguments. Improve reasoning abilities through assignments that involve reading and writing while developing skills in evaluating and constructing arguments. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon successful completion of course, students should have good understanding on the basic concepts of critical thinking. Familiar with features of a good argument - be able to identify and evaluate conclusions and premises in arguments, differentiate fallacious and valid argument forms. Able to construct valid arguments as well as evaluate arguments for their validity and soundness. |
