Syllabus:

Vectors. Linear Algebra. Complex Numbers. Function of several variables. Ordinary Differential Equations. Vector Spaces.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have - Basic skills in the algebra of matrices and vector spaces. Basic skills in the analytical solution of ordinary differential equations and understanding of their uses in real engineering applications. Numerical skills in approximating solutions of ordinary differential equations. Skills in the use of a symbolic mathematical package.
