Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Basic skills in the techniques and application of differential and integral calculus. Good grounding in the way mathematics is expressed in written form. An understanding of the importance of using basic logical arguments in the solution of problems. Skills in the use of calculators and understanding of their limitations. Skills in the use of a symbolic mathematical package. |
