Syllabus:

Orientation to the profession of teaching. Examination of what it means to be an effective teacher. Exploration of how the interaction between the teacher, learner and environment effects learning. Application of these understandings and development of teaching skills in learning settings.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Explained what it means to be an effective teacher. Considered how the interaction between the teacher, learner and environment effects learning. Applied an understanding of quality teaching in alearning environment. Developed teaching skills in learning settings. Planned for teaching a learning experience.
