Syllabus:

The work of the semester is presented in five study components - typography, design principles and techniques, photographic imagery, design for print and digital rendering. Studio sessions will build upon first semesters work in digital rendering techniques as well as typography, photography and design principles.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit the students will be able to- Understand the creative potential and principles of typography. Generate convincing visual illustrations. Further develop skills in photographic image acquisition, composition and production.

Design for print project 20%. Design principles and techniques project 20%. Digital Rendering project 20%. Photographic Imagery project 20%. Typography project 20%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
