Syllabus: | Practical research experience. Group work. Design and implement research. Collection and analysis of data. Developing measurement tools and techniques. Data reduction and statistical issues. Preparation of a journal paper and oral presentation of research findings. |

Unit Outcomes: | Opon completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated proficiency in research methodologies used including general laboratory skills and operation of analytical equipment. Analysed and evaluated data from experiments conducted. Generated a scientific report and given an oral presentation of the findings of research undertaken. |
