Syllabus:

Environmental scanning, needs analysis, contemporary nursing education theories. Current educational research. Educational technology.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Identified relevant environmental considerations in the planning of nursing education. Conducted a needs analysis for a specified nursing education context. Reviewed contemporary theories that underpin nursing education delivery and practice. Discussed the strategic use of educational technology in contemporary nursing education. Reviewed relevant research relating to contemporary issues in nursing education.
