Syllabus:

Formwork systems and components. In depth analysis of AS3610 Code. Design of formwork and falsework systems. Construction procedures for concrete bridges. Concrete pumping. Crane selection. Case studies.
 

Unit Outcomes:

The student will gain an understanding of the design of formwork and scaffolding systems.
