Syllabus: | The development and preparation of students for professional practice and business management within the profession of design. Covering aspects of accountability, time management, business planning, law, ethics, marketing and communication. Advanced techniques in visual communication are covered in workshops to each specific design specialism within Visual Communication - Creative Advertising, Graphic Design, Design Photography and Illustration. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Developed time management skills. Motivated stronger research methods in evaluating correct construction of artwork for print or other specified media forms. Understood and developed timesheets,job bags, cost sheets and contracts. Understood Project and crisis management. Managed the budget and business. Communicated and worked with other professionals. |
