Syllabus:

Provision of the basic skills in conducting an instrumental or vocal ensemble, effective communication of musical ideas, and basic analysis of musical scores. An extension of knowledge of a second study to a minimum of AMEB grade two standard, and exploration of the direction of a contemporary popular music program within years 9 and 10.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Developed strengths in teaching music to teenage and adult students at an intermediate and advanced level. Demonstrated effective delivery in both the classroom and studio setting.
