Syllabus: | Covers network design, network typologies, bridging or switching protocols, network management strategies, selecting network devices, telecommunication options, identifying network bottlenecks and implementation issues. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion students will have developed: an understanding of the principles of network design; network planning skills and an understanding of how business processes affect network design. |
